The Marvel Collection 1:6 Rocket Raccoon Posed Figure pulls Rocket into McFarlane Toys' larger-scale Marvel Collection at one-sixth scale, drawn from his look in Rocket Raccoon: A Chasing Tale #1. Rocket has been one of Marvel's most distinctive characters since his 1976 debut, with the cybernetic-raccoon-meets-bounty-hunter concept finding broader audiences through the Guardians of the Galaxy films. The 1:6 scale keeps Rocket appropriately compact compared to the larger-scale heroes in the line, while still delivering enough detail to see the gear, fur sculpting, and weapon configuration that fans of the comic look know on sight, from Imports Dragon.
Marvel fans deep into the Guardians of the Galaxy crew will find a Rocket sized to anchor a shelf without needing the floor space the larger Hulk or Thor pieces require. McFarlane Marvel Collection collectors will get a Wave 7 entry that fills out the Guardians side of the line. The smaller character footprint also means the figure works as a deskside companion piece without dominating a workspace. The price of admission for a 1:6 Marvel Collection figure stays lower for Rocket because of his smaller stature, which makes this a softer entry point into the line for new collectors.
